The Catholic Men’s Business Fraternity is excited to announce Mike Limmer as the fraternities new executive director.

“We are excited for Mike to lead the Catholic Men’s Business Fraternity,” Board Chair Gene Jones, Jr. said. “Mike brings a wealth of knowledge and strong Catholic faith to the fraternity. Mike will help continue to lead the strategic initiatives of the fraternity as we continue to grow and help men in business be virtuous and integrated leaders.”

Having spent his entire life in South Dakota, Mike was blessed to grow up in the small rural community of Wentworth and graduated from the Chester Area School. After earning a Bachelors and Masters degree from the University of South Dakota, Mike embarked on a career in education. For eleven years, he served the Beresford School District as a teacher, coach (of many sports), and as a school administrator. One of the blessings of living in a smaller community is the opportunity to serve on several boards and organizations. In the twenty-six years Mike and his family lived in Beresford, he served on the library board, was the Booster Club President, and Daycare President, and volunteered with about every organization Beresford has to offer. One of his most joyful experiences was to help form a Men’s Group at St. Teresa’s Parish.

In 2008, Mike began his second career in sales and marketing. Thankfully, that position also included a connection to education.

Mike and his wife, Julie, now call Sioux Falls their home. They have been married for 27 years. They have two sons, Jakob and Joshua. Mike and Julie have found a home at Holy Spirit Parish. He is particularly grateful for his relationships with the Friday Morning Men’s Group and wants to remind you, that there is always room at the table for one more!
